Sockeye salmon is sometimes known as red salmon due to the robust red colour of its flesh. This is one of the most popular breeds of wild salmon due to its rich flavour and firm texture. Sockeye salmon is also high in astaxanthin, a powerful antioxidant.
The fish was super lean n mild tasting. Great choice for a healthy option. Loved the delicate taste of d fish.
This fish is less fatty than Norwegian Salmon. But since I am suspicious of farmed fish, I will always choose the wild salmon. It also has a more gamey taste. Always remember to salt it before cooking and it will be delicious. I simply sprinkle salt, chopped garlic and panko, spray some oil and bake it in my airfryer for 15mins on 180 degrees. Best salmon everrrr.
Salmon was very fresh and lean. Will definitely keep buying.
