Comes degutted and descaled. Jade perch (宝石鲈 / 翡翠鲈) is a native to Murray/ Darling river in Australia. It is a high quality fish with few bones and high level of natural omega fish oils in its tummy. Jade perch contains high level of omega 3 fatty acids, 8 types of amino acids, proteins, DHA, EPA, etc.
Sustainably cultured by BlueAqua and Longxin Farm in Singapore. No antibiotics and hormones added.
Characteristics of the meat: Delicate, mild, white, fine flesh with very little bones.
Cooking methods: Steaming is recommended to reap the full benefits of omega-3 fatty acids in this fish. It is suitable for kids, infants and mums.
The fish is very fresh and tasty. However, with the belly full of fish oil, the fish of 500g is actually very small. In fact, the gutted fish plus the fish oil only weighed up to 460g.
