Only premium frozen seafood can be found in our Prosperity Fortune Pot. You may find Lobster tails, Japan scallops, Littleneck Clams, Sea Cucumber, and Abalone in this package. Our special fish bone broth (500ml), dried goods (including red dates and fa cai), along with cooking instructions will be provided for you to cook it easily at home.
To top it off, we have included the threadfin fish maw set.

To prepare dried fish maw, rinse fish maw and soak them in a bowl of water. There should be enough water so there's room for the fish maw to expand. Soak overnight or for about 12 hours. Slice into desired shape and portions. If not consuming immediately, put it in the chiller. Fish maw cooks quickly and is normally only added to the dish when it is almost ready to be served.

Delicious, bountiful and surprisingly easy to put together. As I have limited time to prepare, I watched the video a few times to prepare myself, but actually, there's no need to, is very easy to put together and the instruction sheet that comes with it was pretty clear too. However, a change i wld make would be to put in some of the scallops etc first before the lobster tails coz once i put in all the lobster tails, there's very limited space to put all the rest of the ingredients...not sure if the claypot that came with it was deep but smaller in circumference than the one featured or. And 1 litre of water+broth is just nice, too much and it will overflow :) Will consider buying again the next CNY!
This is one item to order for CNY reunion dinner. Easy, no fuss and convenient. Above all it's very delicious.. thanks to the fish broth.
We prefer this lighter yet no less tasty version of the traditional pencai of roast meat n other richer proteins. Added fishballs for the kids n spinach for fibre. Went down v well.
Convenient, hassle-free and easy yet impressive! Added extra ingredients on my own and the portion was good for 10 pax and all other dishes became our dinner instead! Used pressure cooker for this, it was ready in less than an hour ! Gives me the confidence to build-my-own seafood pengcai next year with ingredients from Dishthefish!

This is my first time ordering a seafood “pen cai” which was DIY style. A bit apprehensive initially but that was unnecessary. Every item of seafood was vacuum packed and fresh. The broth and dried goods blended very well with the selected seafood, enhancing the freshness and “sweetness” of the items. I wanted to order it again even before finishing my meal 😄
The beautiful white Claypot that came with it was a great bonus! Loved it!
Only caution to customers is to note that all the seafood, the broth and dried goods came deeply frozen. Hence, do make time for defrosting and soak the dried goods in water for better dining experience!
